Hans Stevens has been asking himself why people do what they do since 1957, and has been struggling through his, besides this aspect, relatively normal life Later it became a bit more serious, a rapport to and of the world, first singing and clinging, later painting, drawing and calculating from brain to the far ends of the universe.

“I have made an fantastic journey around this planet through the world. I designed the AND-principle. I was able to make a report of two million papers. I’ve dreamed about more musical and dimensional aspects. You will see a tiny bit of my dream. I think it is fantastic. You are welcome.”

This collection, called the EN collection, is now over 2 million pages deep. Called EN (translates as ‘AND’) because of the principle that lies at its roots. A multidimensional language design, fully explained and formed in the book with the same name: ‘de weg bij het een boek EN’

This exhibition will take place at two different locations, close to each other, and each one of them will show different aspects of the same EN collection.
