KiD iNk. Never heard of the little man before last Tuesday. My friend wanted to go and see him at 013 and talked me into going with him. Just to see what all the fuss about the kid is about. It didn’t take me long to see that he’s a rising star in the world of hip hop. Did he put up a great show? Not really. Does he sell albums as if he were Jay Z? Nope. I once thought a hip hop artist is sized by his music. It’s really not. It’s all about the entourage.
The more, the merrier. A saying that sounds like a cheap slogan of a democratic party. Sharing one’s experiences and more. Please! The more, the… Just more status. Rappers like to be surrounded by a posse. Why? I really don’t know. Maybe owning fifteen Hummers isn’t enough and artists think they can up their swag by owning some people as well.

KiD iNk. He’s given Incubate the best playback show so far. But does it really matter? Hell no! The little dude’s got an entourage! Like the oversized man walking around on stage without a real purpose. His biggest achievement of the evening: looking thug-like while sipping water. Who needs an army when you have a man like that? And what’s an entourage without some b$%@es? The Kid must’ve thought that they are a necessity. We can only guess about their purpose. They most likely don’t travel around with KiD iNk to do his homework or laundry. Bitches and hoes. You can’t live with them, but you look like an absolute douchebag if you’re entourage is lacking them. So you just post them somewhere in the shadow on the side of the stage. Right?
KiD iNk. I’m glad I went to see him! He thought me something about life. I don’t have an entourage so basically that means I’m a big fat loser. Tonight I think I’m going to a totally different performance. Boring people who don’t own others. No entourage but live music. I love Incubate for all the different things I get to see!
