At Incubate 2009 they will collaborate under the alias Atomized.In 2009 they released their debut Hits Of The 80′s, containing “raped versions of pop classics by Madonna, Visage, Howard Jones, Haircut 100 and Culture Club”. So be prepared for a eighties noise party!

We are sorry to inform you Anti-Pop Consortium cancelled their full September Europe tour, which includes their performance at Incubate 2009. The band from New York was due to play at Saturday September 19th.

At the same time, we’re glad to announce Mad Professor will be replacing Anti-Pop. Mad Professor (born Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser, 1955, Georgetown, Guyana) is a dub music producer and engineer known for his original productions and remix work. He is considered one of the leading producers of dub music’s second generation and was instrumental in transitioning dub into the digital age. He is a prolific producer, contributing to or producing nearly 200 albums. He has collaborated with reggae artists such as Lee “Scratch” Perry, Sly and Robbie, Pato Banton, Jah Shaka and Horace Andy, as well as artists outside the realm of traditional reggae and dub, such as Sade, Massive Attack, The Orb, and Brazilian DJ Marcelinho da lua.

Mad Professor will perform at Incubate 2009 on Saturday September 19th.

The Piratpartiet (dutch link) (Pirate Party) got 7.1% of the Swedish voters behind them for the European Elections. This will result in one seat in Brussels, and one more when the organizational reorganization of the EU will take place later this year.

Piratpartiet wants sweeping reform of copyright law and an end to patents. The party says membership soared from 14,711 to 36,624 in just a few days (BBC). In+ Out Records are an Austrian Jazz label, which released record by all the great names in contemporary jazz. They’ve just release a new cd from Sun Ra Arkestra live at Paradox. The liner notes say this: As “Artists in Residence”, the Arkestra performed on five evenings at the Paradox Music Club from September 15th to 20th. Each of these concerts appeared to be a Big Bang.
