Bassist and singer Dickie Peterson of heavy riffmachine Blue Cheer past away this morning at 5am in Germany. Blue Cheer was one of the first powertrio’s in rock-‘n’-roll and laid a blueprint of heavy metal/stoner with Vincebus Eruptum and Outsideinside in 1968.
