The people over at Spread Motion did a series of videos about Tilburg as a college town. The one above features the one and only Patchman Marco, Heavy metal extraordinist and DJ at the infamous Heavy Metal Bowling event each year at the Incubate festival! The rest of the videos can be found here.

The presale for the great and successful Heavy Metal Bowling started last week and is running great. More than 50% of the lanes has been reserved yet. Tickets for the three earlier editions of this epic event were sold out in record times each year, so don’t wait too long getting your access to bowling hell!

Just go to the HMB event page at the Incubate website and follow the instructions to order the tickets online. You can order up to 8 tickets (1 lane) per order. That’s also the maximum of participants for one team/lane. Tickets are €28,75 a piece (including a €1,25 fee). That price includes a night of heavy metal bowling and heavy metal beer drinking! DJ Patchman Marco will play some of the greatest heavy metal tunes around.

For example, an Italian Capuchin monk has started a metal band with some dudes that look like aging Limp Bizkit fans. You see, he was inspired after having seen Metallica live, which makes him one of only three people worldwide to have seen the band live in the last decade and not thrown up consistently for the subsequent 24 hours. read more.

As a follow up to Saxon’s legendary live-album “The Eagle Has Landed”, our hero Mambo Kurt has released a live album as well, called “The Orgel Has Landed”, recorded live at one of the worlds biggest metalfestivals, Wacken Open Air. Too bad it doesn’t have any Saxon covers on it though…
